TV’s and Television Equipment (CRT)

With decreasing costs and more rapid innovation, televisions and the associated equipment are becoming obsolete more quickly than ever. When it comes to the production of televisions, many are composed of flame retardant elements that need to be properly disassembled and repurposed so as not to end up in a landfill, where it will degrade and pollute the air and land. Older tv’s were made with cathode-ray tubes (CRT), which contain lead and can be detrimental to human health if not decommissioned correctly.
